Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Senior Manager - Ad Sales to lead our advertising sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive revenue growth through advertising solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand client needs, develop tailored advertising solutions, and manage relationships with key clients. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong sales background in digital advertising, a deep understanding of the ad sales cycle, and leadership experience.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales Strategy Development & Execution:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive advertising sales strategies to meet revenue targets and business objectives.

  • Identify new revenue opportunities by analyzing market trends, client needs, and competitor activity.

  • Lead the development of custom advertising solutions, leveraging the company’s products and services to maximize client success.

  • Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to ensure alignment between sales efforts and marketing initiatives.

2. Team Leadership & Management:

  • Lead, motivate, and manage a high-performing ad sales team, setting clear goals and expectations.

  • Provide coaching and mentorship to team members, fostering an environment of growth, accountability, and continuous improvement.

  • Conduct regular performance reviews and identify areas for skill development and professional growth.

  • Ensure that the team adheres to best practices, maintains high standards of customer service, and achieves sales targets.

3. Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients, agencies, and industry partners.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for high-value clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.

  • Drive client satisfaction by providing exceptional service and delivering tailored advertising solutions that align with their business objectives.

  • Negotiate and close high-value deals, ensuring profitability and client retention.

4. Sales Reporting & Performance Analysis:

  • Monitor and analyze sales performance data, identifying trends, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.

  • Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and insights to senior management, highlighting key achievements and areas for growth.

  • Track team performance against KPIs and revenue targets, making adjustments to strategy as needed.

  • Utilize CRM tools to track leads, opportunities, and sales activities, ensuring data accuracy and transparency.

5. Market & Industry Insights:

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in digital advertising and ad sales.

  • Identify new opportunities and emerging markets for advertising sales, keeping the team informed of industry developments.

  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings to build brand presence and network with potential clients.

6. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the marketing, content, and product teams to ensure seamless delivery of advertising campaigns.

  • Provide input into product development and marketing strategies, ensuring that client needs are addressed and met.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure that client expectations are fulfilled, from proposal through campaign execution to post-sales support.
