Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking an organized and proactive Assistant Manager - Human Resources to join our dynamic HR team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the HR Manager in executing a variety of HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong interpersonal and organizational skills who is looking to contribute to the overall success of our workforce and organizational culture.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Recruitment & Onboarding:

  • Assist in the recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, initial interviews, and scheduling.

  • Coordinate and manage the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring a smooth and positive experience.

  • Support recruitment strategies and help with sourcing candidates for both entry-level and senior roles.

2. Employee Relations & Engagement:

  • Foster a positive and inclusive work culture by assisting in conflict resolution, employee feedback, and workplace engagement activities.

  • Act as a point of contact for employees, addressing concerns, answering HR-related queries, and resolving any minor grievances.

  • Assist in organizing employee engagement programs, events, and initiatives to maintain high levels of morale.

3. Performance Management:

  • Support the implementation of the performance management system, including assisting managers with conducting performance reviews and setting employee goals.

  • Help track employee performance data and prepare reports to identify trends and improvement areas.

  • Assist in developing and executing employee development plans based on performance reviews and feedback.

4. HR Administration & Compliance:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, ensuring compliance with legal and company policies.

  • Assist in preparing HR reports, such as headcount reports, absenteeism, and turnover reports.

  • Help ensure company compliance with labor laws and health & safety regulations.

  • Support payroll processes by ensuring all necessary documents and approvals are in place.

5. Training & Development:

  • Assist in identifying employee training needs and supporting the organization of training programs.

  • Coordinate internal training sessions or external vendor-based programs and track employee participation.

  • Help evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and provide feedback for improvement.

6. Compensation & Benefits:

  • Assist in the administration of employee benefits, such as health insurance, pension plans, and other perks.

  • Support payroll processes by verifying timesheets, attendance records, and other data for salary processing.

  • Assist in conducting compensation reviews and ensure market competitiveness.

7. HR Projects & Reporting:

  • Participate in HR projects such as diversity and inclusion initiatives, employee wellness programs, and process improvement.

  • Assist in conducting exit interviews and analyzing employee turnover trends to recommend areas for improvement.

  • Compile and analyze HR data to provide insights for strategic decision-making.
